As a pole dancer, I don’t see why that’s a bad thing. Not one bit. But for this post, I figured it was probably best in your case to be a little more specific. Yes, it can be intimidating to learn how to do pole, but there are many people who have done it and enjoyed it as well. For some you may have to take a small amount of lessons, but I recommend that you take time to do so. It’s a great way to get some new moves and a little bit of confidence, and it will prepare you for what’s ahead.
What should I wear?
This will depend on the time of day. While you can wear any clothes you’d like, I can’t stress this enough. I love the dresses that are perfect for this. I like to wear a tank top with leggings, or dress slacks; just something that is comfortable. No matter what you put on, you really want to have something that can stand up to the weather. If you have a little bit more time, I think it’s a good idea to make a few outfits and have a little bit of fun in the sun! I’m obsessed with sunrises and sunset so make sure you get out and enjoy it!
What does practice feel like?
It really depends! The feeling of practice, as with anything, differs a little bit from person to person. In general I feel that if I don’t practice very much, I don’t improve much. If I practice a lot it usually goes pretty quickly. For me, practicing to the point where I get comfortable and am really excited to move, and then just keeping my weight in a comfortable weight range for a while is a solid way to go. For most people that’s the
