Who knows what was going on as these two rappers got to know them.
“We know each other from the street… I’m from the north end of Chicago, and these are all these hip hop people from south Chicago,” said Drake. When asked why he likes to play a song at parties, he started to joke about his own friends in Chicago. Then, the truth really comes out, “It just depends on the event, I just wanna have fun at my events, and this song just came out that kind of sounded like fun. At the end of the day, it’s like a party; it’s about fun and partying.”
The two rappers then proceeded to go through a series of stories in which they tried to get into the song in a new and interesting way.
“I’m like, ‘I’m gonna fuck with these guys and make something out of the chorus… And the second time I was like, ‘Oh shit, I have no ideas about this song and I’ve come up with this whole hook, but the lyric doesn’t even matter, this is still a good beat, I’m gonna keep messing with it.’ And I kept messing with it, and then I just felt it, and it came out,” said Young. The rappers then went through the lyrics and tried to take them apart, to come up with something from the beginning.
“At the end of the day,” said Drake. “It’s about fun, it’s all about fun in my story, and the verses just kind of flowed and the hook didn’t really matter.”
The songs are set to come out on Young’s upcoming album, as well as on Drake’s debut album, Views From the 6. Their next song, “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” will be released this September.
The European Council agreed at its meeting today (Tuesday 7 June; 16:15 CEST, 4 June 2013) on creating a European Space Agency (ESA) which will promote commercial and public access to space. This decision is in line with the EU position in the Council on European Space Competitiveness in 2012.
Under the terms of this decision, the European Member States can decide whether to take account of certain non-Member State decisions, which would need to be taken by the European Commission, on the application of this decision to their nationals before the relevant provisions of the Member State laws that regulate that question have been repealed.
